The Professional Project Management Association is established exclusively for non-profit purposes to:

(a) Advance professional standards in project management throughout Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific Region;

(b) Promote international best

practices, ethical governance and technological innovation in project management;

(c) Facilitate continuous professional development through knowledge sharing platforms;

(d) Establish and enforce professional standards, certification requirements and disciplinary procedures;

(e) Serve as the representative body for project management professionals;

(f) Develop professional networks and collaborative partnerships with leading organizations in field;

(g) Drive sustainable project safety management through innovative technology and proactive culture;

(h) Implement quality assurance & control frameworks for project excellence; and

(i) Integrate financial management best practices into project delivery.

Our Mission

Promotion of Project Management Standards:

a) To promote and uphold high standards of project management including safety, quality and financial management practices across Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific Region.

b) To provide a platform for exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices in Project management.

Professional Development:

a) To offer training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance the professional skills of project professionals with other leading organizations through service agreement.

b) To facilitate certification and accreditation processes for project management professionals.

Networking and Collaboration:

a) To foster a network of project management professionals and organizations for mutual support and collaboration with the engineering, safety, quality, financial and other professional sectors.

b) To organize conferences, forums, and events to encourage interaction and knowledge transfer among members.

Research and Innovation:

a) To conduct and support research in the field of project management to drive innovation and improvement.

b) To publish research findings, articles, and papers to contribute to the body of knowledge in project management.

Community Engagement:

a) To engage with the community and promote the value of professional project management in various sectors.

b) To support community projects and initiatives that benefit the society through effective project management.

Advocacy and Representation:

a) To represent the interests of project management professionals in discussions with government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
